Whose team are you on?

Best intentions.

I’ve been a committed Christian for a long time, orienting my life and actions the ways I thought committed Christians would. The path is not always clear, plenty of detours and undergrowth. Lots of street signs. Sometimes even signs that say “THIS IS THE WRONG ROAD.”

I’ve had an eagle eye for spotting areas that need justice—God’s justice.  I’ve spent years and considerable resources working in areas I thought needed God’s justice and have pleaded for God’s help.

When I stumbled into prison ministry, I encountered the passion of God for those who are oppressed—passion like I hadn’t experienced.  Now I’m a private on God’s team doing the best I can.
